SoPlayer on a Formuler box

A Formuler ships with MYTV Online, and adding a portal turns the box into a MAC-activated device like a MAG. So the MAC address gets registered first.

MYTV Online 3

  1. 1.Open MYTV Online 3.
  2. 2.Go to Content Manager, then Content Sources, then Add.
  3. 3.Choose Add Portal, which registers the box by its MAC address.
  4. 4.Type a nickname and the portal address we sent on WhatsApp, then choose Connect.
Note. The MAC address sits behind the eye icon next to the Device ID, and it is printed on the label under the box too. Send it before you connect or the portal stays empty.

MYTV Online 2

  1. 1.Open MYTV Online 2. A box without it installs it from the Market Store in a minute.
  2. 2.Go to Menu, then Connections, then Add Portal.
  3. 3.Add a nickname and the portal address, then choose Connect.
Note. MYTV Online 2 shows a MAC starting 00:1E:B8. Send it with the prefix changed to 00:1A:79. Forgetting that swap is what makes a Formuler activation look as if it failed.

With a portal added, the Formuler behaves like a MAG, so the MAG box guide helps if the MAC step stalls. BuzzTV boxes work on the same portal idea. Read the channel list before connecting.
