Where we stand
SoPlayer resells access to streams operated by third parties. We hold no copies, run no recordings and take no part in deciding what those operators put on air.
We take copyright seriously. If you own or represent a right in material reachable through this service, send a notice and you will hear back.
What a valid notice contains
A notice needs every item below before we can act on it:
- Your full name and postal address, and an email address or phone number where we can reach you.
- The work you say is infringed.
- Which material you mean, with enough detail that we can find it ourselves.
- A good-faith statement that the use is not permitted by the rights holder, an agent, or the law.
- Confirmation that the notice is accurate and that you hold the right or act on behalf of whoever does.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Where to send it
Post it to SoPlayer, 896 Floral Ave, Union, NJ 07083, USA, or send it through the contact page. A notice missing any item above is returned so it can be completed.
What happens next
We forward a complete notice to the operator running the stream and cut access on our side where that is possible. Nothing is stored with us, so the operator handles the removal.
Counter-notice
Think something was taken down by mistake? Send a counter-notice carrying your contact details, a description of the material, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that the removal was an error.
Repeat complaints
A login named in more than one valid notice is shut off for good.
